Summer Camp Wedding $1950
This extended family camp is likely to please the couple who would like to reaffirm their shared connection to nature, want an extremely casual, leisurely unfolding of the high points that will memorialize their union, and enjoy doing the planning and execution themselves. (It does not include use of the chapel, lodge or lodge patio, or any "wedding equipment", but gives you exclusive use of the Cedar Circle that weekend.)
(For personal camping see Cottages and Overnights.)

This is a classic DIY affair, and especially suits the couple who love the idea of keeping their wedding size small, and having all guests camping with them. A sleepy wedding morning spent outdoors breakfasting with all those who will bear witness to your union....and all in their jammies!...can be a great way to banish wedding jitters.
The cottages provide for forty, and the entire group can be expanded to as many as sixty-five (with camping and
RV's at additional charge—see chart below). The accommodations are provided for two nights (more can be added). The format of this style of gathering is NOT one that provides an exclusive use of our entire property (that would be a "wedding weekend retreat"), excluding any other uses, but it does provide all of the camp east of Canyon Creek (see map of camp) as the exclusive domain of your group.
For couples who don't resonate with what we mean by small, and want a larger group of guests, we can suggest a few campgrounds that may suit you. We are not that. The area between Canyon Creek and the slope of The Ridge is ecologically sensitive, and we do not allow more people in that area for extended recreation.
The price is quite simply the cost of a two-night stay in the cottages, plus ceremony benches, room tax, and wear and tear of several staged events. Aditionally you are getting privacy for your group in the 60 or so acres east of Canyon Creek during your reserved hours, also blocking an all-day wedding package from using the outdoor chapel (Cedar Circle). How and when you stage your ceremony will only be known by you and your guests. Your wedding and reception will be as casual as you'd like, and will be held in nature.
The group of those who are cottage, tent, and RV camping with you will constitute the sum of your guests during your stay, unless you rent some portion of the west side of camp to entertain additional guests (you may not bring additional guests into the east side of camp). (See Camp Map located on right side of header bar above.)
The lodging includes a honeymoon cottage, small enough to be for the private use of the wedding couple. This style of event requires about 1.5 hours of consultation in order to be successful, and this is included in the price. Other than the consultation, there will be no staff support for your event. Many couples add Thursday night in Honeymoon for themselves, to do some of the set up before guests arrive on Friday; this is billed at the third night rate of $60. This is especially helpful if the couple expect to host the delivery of banquet tents or other rentals.
