Eclipse Camping Saturday, August 19–Monday, August 21
Colton is in the path of totality for the Total Solar Eclipse of August 21, 2017. What an auspicious way to open to the public! Observers will see (appx.) 52s of totality, beginning at 10:18:43AM. In the path of totality, the moon will completely cover the sun and the sun's tenuous atmosphere - the corona - can be seen.
Join us as we gather to observe, experience, and share the total solar eclipse.
The full solar eclipse will be viewable from multiple viewing areas. However, due to the fact that we are located in the woods, viewing the entire eclipse process from start to finish will not be possible from one spot. The tree line will obstruct the view at times.
Alcohol & ice will not be available on site
No RV access
